Among the things that can kill ferrets and might be among Holiday

treats are:

Chocolate (the darker the chocolate is the more it may poison ferrets)

Natural Licorice (which can cause heart and heart pressure problems as well as a pseudo-adrenal syndrome)

Raisins (cause unknown but the deaths in ferrets, dogs, and cats have

been investigated with obvious possible causes eliminated, and among

things under study is that they might deliver too much Vitamin D at

one time for the kidneys of Carnivora members.
